This project represents a harmonious blend of urbanity and a sense of place, an exploration into the rejuvenation of context and the art of creating distinctive spaces.
The project revolves around the symbiotic relationship between urban life and architectural design. The historic town is interwoven with a network of streets, varying in scale and direction, which intricately divides the island into numerous smaller parcels. This intricate and organic urban fabric seamlessly extends into the architectural framework.

Texture Restructured 重构肌理
Inspired by the Stockholm Street Mapping at the Sweden Expo Pavilion, the existing urban fabric within the site has been reimagined on a smaller scale, cultivating a vibrant street ambiance within the architectural structure itself. Simultaneously, drawing inspiration from Stockholm's unique tradition of exploring rooftops on foot, the roof design has been elevated to a novel prototype. The diverse rooflines reveal two distinct design systems that engage with both the external streetscape and the internal architectural space. These innovative design choices promise visitors a distinctive experience, bridging the gap between the past and the present within the heart of the timber center. 本项目灵感来源于瑞典博览会展馆的斯德哥尔摩街道地图，现场的现有城市肌理在较小尺度上进行了重新构想，在建筑结构内部营造出充满活力的街道氛围。 同时，受到斯德哥尔摩独特的屋顶步行探索传统的启发，屋顶设计被提升为一种全新的原型。多样化的屋顶线条展现了两种不同的设计系统，它们既与外部街景互动，又与内部建筑空间产生联系。这些创新的设计选择为访客提供了一种独特的体验，架起了历史与现代之间的桥梁，融入了木材中心的核心。
Dynamic Enclosure 动态围合
The building features multiple accessible entrances, each connecting to city corners, green spaces, and squares. Its folding roof exudes dynamism, enclosing into a circle, drawing people towards the center. The rhythmic wooden frame facade endows the building with a lively posture. Transparency characterizes both its interior and exterior, resembling a semi-transparent box integrated into the urban fabric, juxtaposed with the surrounding sturdy structures. 这座建筑设有多个便捷的入口，分别连接城市的各个角落、绿地和广场。其折叠屋顶充满动感，向内收拢成圆形，吸引人们走向中心。节奏感十足的木质框架外立面赋予建筑活力与姿态。透明性贯穿内外，使其呈现出一个半透明的盒子形态，融入城市肌理，与周围坚固的建筑形成鲜明对比。
Wood Construction 木构设计
The construction concept revolves around a steel and timber framework, aligning with the idea of utilizing wood in a recyclable manner and ensuring the overall building's disassembly capability. The timber elements are all of small dimensions, facilitating local processing, even within the confines of this timber workshop. The roof comprises a fully wooden structure supported by timber trusses, which in turn determine the angles of the folded surfaces, creating a rhythmic roofline. 该建筑的构建概念围绕钢材与木材框架展开，符合木材可回收利用的理念，并确保整体建筑具备可拆解性。木材构件均为小尺寸，便于本地加工，甚至可以在这座木材工坊内完成。屋顶由全木结构组成，支撑着木质桁架，而桁架则决定了折叠表面的角度，形成富有节奏感的屋顶线条。
