LOOP Bamboo Pavilion 环 - 竹亭
Bamboo is a sustainable natural resource due to its fast growth rate and short harvest cycle. Storing carbon of building bamboo structures is a green way of life. Meanwhile, the texture and smell of bamboo have a unique aesthetic that allows visitors to immerse themselves.The bamboo pavilion I designed is a simple Loop art installation. It is like the bud of a life breaking out of the ground, slowly blooming itself, and finally returning to nature, forming a self-loop.
竹子是一种可持续的天然资源，因其生长迅速、收获周期短而备受青睐。建造竹结构可储存碳，是一种绿色的生活方式。同时，竹子的纹理和香气具有独特的美学，能够让访客沉浸其中。我设计的竹亭是一个简单的环形艺术装置，宛如生命的萌芽从大地中破土而出，缓缓绽放，最终归于自然，形成一个自我循环。
Walking in the LOOP 行走于环
People can walk around the loop which is formed by the bending bamboos. The lifting of the two ends of the loop at different heights creates an internal corridor, like spreading wings. People can stop under the cantilevered cornice and enjoy the beauty of the bamboo forest. Different distances and perspectives will bring changing aesthetics. Beautiful arcs and pure structures can bring mental healing. The partially exposed bamboo structure in the middle allows visitors to feel the beauty of bamboo as a structure more closely. They will also have the opportunity to observe how the bamboo structure is tied. 人们可以在弯曲的竹子形成的环形路径中漫步。环形的两端在不同的高度上抬起，创造出一个内部走廊，仿佛展开的翅膀。人们可以在悬挑的檐口下停留，欣赏竹林的美景。不同的距离和视角将带来变化的美学体验。优美的弧线和简洁的结构能够带来心灵的治愈。中间部分暴露的竹结构让游客能更近距离地感受竹子作为结构材料的美感，同时也有机会观察竹结构的绑扎方式。
